I have a new job. Rainforest Cafe. Retail. We have a talking tree and a thunder and lightning storm every half hour. Bet you don't. Hah hah. Epic win on my part, epic fail on your side of things. No talking tree for you!

I haven't been drawing as I should. Hopefully I'll get around to some new stuff soonish.

Tonight, as I was reading through the journals of those I subscribe to, I stumbled over to *jisuk 's.

In said journal, he was talking about a cartoon series he did some character designs for. After seeing his most recent deviation of said characters (why am I using the word "said" as a transition so frequently in the journal?), I was interested and followed the link to the show's official website (seen here: [link] ).
I'm definitely liking the look of the design of everything. Very stylish. I only wish i had nicktoons so that I actually might be able to see it all in action..

Anyways. To those who DO have the channel, make sure to tune in to Nicktoons for "Three Delivery".. the premiere is on June 27th. So don't miss out!

Coldplay's new album is officially out on June 17th. So far, the songs I have already heard are brill. It's sounding very promising.

Hello to you all!

Today, I embarked on a new journey... that of video blogging. Or "vlogging" if you will.
I can hardly explain why I did this... It more than likely can be blamed on watching far too many hours of youtube and actually enjoying a select few vlogs I stumbled over.
Either way, I was intrigued! I wanted to try it out for myself. I've never used any sort of editing program for video works soooo... it's game time, yo!

So. I did it.
After filming myself talking to... myself... I took *alot* time and edited it all together.
I even added some music. I know. Crazy, right?

And you know what? I'm semi-proud of the finished product. I mean, it IS my first attempt and all but hey. Whatever.

That all being said... I was kinda sorta wondering if you'd maybe like to go, you know, watch it?

Where did I get all of the time to create such a video you might be asking?
Well, I'm officially out of school for the summer! No longer am I a freshman in college.
Sophomore year here I come... in a couple of months.
I also have yet to start working for this summer season.
I WILL be working in about a week, however. I need some cash money, yo.
But as for right now, I'm livin' free and easy.

It's nearly official: my freshman year of college is drawing to a close.
I'll be moving back home for the summer this coming Saturday. Sahweeeeetness.
All I have is one major English analysis paper, a psych exam, a European Culture Studies exam and an arts & crafs-like project on Oscar Wilde to do. (That all sounds like a helluva a lot but really... nah B. It's all easy peasy for realz.)


MORE good news!
I've been in a SUPER artistic mood for the past two days running. Which means not only do I constantly feel the need to be drawing, but I'm actually liking what I'm producing. What a novel idea, right?! Semi-liking my own work??! NO WAI!!
That's why I've been posting some sketches and things as of late. Because all I'm doing is drawing. (ps. please leave me some feedback on my newly designed Ten. I want/need some opinions on the new style!) ...w00t!
...However, I do need to be aware of my finals this coming week. Academics first yadda yadda yadda.

It's not easy being green either for that matter.

And considering the Slitheen ARE green... well. Yikes.







Anyways.
As you might have noticed with my latest postings, I'm in quite the sketchy mood.
I don't mean I'VE been sketchy (or anymore than I usually might be)...
I just mean I've been doing a lot of random sketches to pass the time.
Many of these have been Doctor Who-centric.

So. That being said, there may be more sketchiness being posted here. Just fair warning.
Eventually... Hopefully... I'll be able to start a new pencil portrait.
But until then, make sure you keep an eye on my scraps section.
(More sketches will end up there than in my gallery.)
