This man is a demi-god. I'm sure of it. Everything he touches or does is amazing! It boggles the mind! My only regret about this piece is that, because my medium was pencil, I was unable to convey the beautiful, vivid, piercing blue of this man's eyes.  But hey. There's only so much one can do with pencil. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments. I especially like the tie, the value of that against his black jacket is sublime. Is it all pencil work? the jacket looks completely line free, like you used a giant jacket shaped brush instead
it's all pencil. normally, i do not blend my strokes (as you can see everywhere else)... however, after scanning this the first time without the jacket blended, i found it to be far too similar to the texture of the tie.
aka... didn't look so hot. so i did some handy dandy blend work and... ta da.
